This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Address inquiries related to medical billing, insurance coverage, claims, EOBs, and account balances
• Provide exceptional customer service through both inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume setting
• Assist patients with payment options and financial inquiries
• Strive for first call resolution and meet established call center performance metrics
• Utilize EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) to investigate and resolve issues
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain precise documentation
• Navigate various systems while handling a high volume of calls
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center position
• Background in health insurance, payer customer service, or medical billing/claims is highly preferred
• Capability to clearly explain insurance benefits, claims, and EOBs
• Experience managing high call volumes in fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in multitasking across different systems
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.) is an advantage
