This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Instruct physicians and clinical personnel on Breg's orthopedic bracing and supply program, including product options, equipment usage, and specialized applications.
• Exhibit and uphold proficiency in fitting and utilizing Breg products.
• Measure and fit patients with orthopedic soft goods and functional braces.
• Provide guidance on product usage and care, while communicating anticipated outcomes to patients and healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient service excellence and timely follow-up.
• Manage product logistics, replenishment, inventory transfers, and reconciliation tasks.
• Remove and handle expired, damaged, or unsellable products.
• Assist with customer orders, product returns, delivery notifications, and order fulfillment processes.
• Maintain product displays, storage areas, and inventory locations.
• Offer onsite support for recalls, audits, and field communications.
• Conduct inventory counts and aid in reconciliation and compliance efforts.
• Prepare, compile, and submit insurance billing documentation accurately.
• Review pending claims, obtain missing information, identify documentation gaps, and utilize Power BI, Breg Vision, and Breg Claims System (BCS).
• Secure pre-authorization and collect applicable co-insurances, deductibles, and cash payment amounts.
• Monitor claim denials and claims needing additional information in collaboration with internal departments.
• Work together with the Solution Team, Sales, and Field Operations to address account issues effectively.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, analyze trends, and pinpoint areas for process improvement.
• Advocate for Breg's culture of commitment and accountability.
• An associate degree in a healthcare-related field, completion of an approved healthcare certification or certificate program, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and hands-on experience in orthotics, athletic training, sports medicine, durable medical equipment (DME), or patient care is required.
• Relevant certification or licensure such as American Board Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Board of Certification (BOC), Athletic Training licensure, or Orthopaedic Technologist Certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with standard workflows and procedures in orthopedic clinics or physician offices is preferred.
• Knowledge of orthopedic bracing and supply products, including applicable utilization procedures, is preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to learn new software and systems effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to engage with patients and deliver excellent customer service, particularly in escalated situations.
• Compliance with HIPAA, FDA requirements, Breg policies, and standard operating procedures is mandatory.
