This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of patient navigation from start to finish: Schedule appointments, guide next steps, clarify risk levels, ensure follow-ups, and proactively reconnect with patients who haven’t scheduled.

• Serve as the patient’s voice post-booking: Act as the primary contact via text, email, or phone, providing prompt, empathetic support that fosters trust and enhances satisfaction.

• Engage with patients: Conduct outreach to individuals referred by their physicians or who have completed the risk assessment, converting them into scheduled appointments.

• Ensure order completion: Monitor imaging and testing orders from initiation to fulfillment to prevent patients from falling through the cracks and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Develop breast health knowledge: Keep updated on screening guidelines, risk assessment, and early detection to assist patients in understanding the next steps and their significance.

• Collaborate across partners: Work closely with Breast Specialists, imaging centers, and payers to facilitate a seamless and integrated care journey.

• Improve the system: Oversee the EMR to find opportunities for enhancing referrals, addressing registration gaps, resolving SBO/MSPQ issues, capturing charges, and editing claims to reduce delays.

• Conduct insurance estimates: Use the EMR and insurance portals to determine patient financial responsibility before payments and communicate this information to patients.

• Manage pre-visit authorization workflows: Obtain payer approvals prior to visits to minimize last-minute challenges and maintain the care schedule.

• Enhance team performance: Coordinate access needs and troubleshoot basic technology issues, allowing the care team to focus on patient care.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer experience, customer service, care coordination, or a patient-facing role.

• A strong interest in women’s health; able to support patients through sensitive, emotionally charged moments with empathy and discretion.

• Tech-savvy and willing to quickly learn new tools and software; comfortable navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated capability to manage an initiative from start to finish—identifying needs, executing plans, iterating, and delivering results.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; adept at conveying complex information clearly, kindly, and confidently.

• An innate problem-solver with a proactive mindset and a tendency toward taking action.

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail; able to juggle multiple workstreams, deadlines, and follow-ups without oversight.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change; thrives in a startup environment focused on building and iterating.
