Partnerships Operations Lead – Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the onboarding process of new healthcare data partners by creating repeatable operational playbooks.

• Manage secure data access, querying workflows, and transfer methods.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment on data ingestion, normalization, and technical configurations.

• Work closely with Legal and Compliance to implement privacy, compliance, and governance requirements effectively.

• Establish structured processes aimed at efficiently scaling partner onboarding.

• Conduct systematic evaluations of partner datasets, including EHR, imaging, claims, genomics, devices, or real-world data.

• Collaborate with DataLab to evaluate data completeness, quality, modality coverage, and suitability for AI training applications.

• Partner with scientific teams to assist in feasibility assessments for customer projects.

• Identify data gaps, operational risks, and areas that need remediation.

• Develop partner performance scorecards to monitor responsiveness, reliability, and data quality.

• Align partners on project specifications, qualification criteria, and delivery schedules.

• Track feasibility analyses and ensure that partners provide timely and accurate responses.

• Monitor deal progress from qualification to fulfillment stages.

• Coordinate data delivery milestones and address any execution bottlenecks.

• Proactively identify risks to internal stakeholders and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Ensure partners meet their commitments in individual customer engagements.

• Monitor utilization, revenue contribution, and overall operational performance.

• Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships Lead to identify opportunities for expansion.

• Maintain consistent communication between partners and internal teams.

• Continuously enhance operational workflows to improve both reliability and speed.

• Act as the main execution contact point for healthcare data partners.

• Foster trusted relationships based on transparency, responsiveness, and accountability.

• Strengthen Protege’s reputation as the leading platform for responsible AI data collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in healthcare data operations, partnership execution, data program management, or related fields.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare data modalities (EHR, imaging, claims, genomics, devices, or real-world data) and their operationalization.

• Experience with onboarding healthcare data partners or integrating datasets from health systems or aggregators into platforms.

• Technical proficiency in working with data in Snowflake, Databricks, and various other tools.

• Ability to engage in discussions regarding data extraction, normalization, de-identification, and AI training data readiness with technical teams.

• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional delivery involving legal, compliance, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.

• Strong operational discipline — adept at building processes, tracking details, and managing multiple concurrent workstreams.

• Commercially savvy — knowledgeable about contract structures, revenue-sharing models, and project-level financial tracking.

• Pragmatic and accountable — focused on execution rather than solely on design.
