Partnerships Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, qualify, and secure new opportunities within designated territory parameters.

• Take ownership of the entire process from Discovery → Demo → Proposal → Contract for your assigned accounts.

• Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.

• Build a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, events, referrals, and leads generated by SDRs.

• Conduct structured discovery sessions utilizing the MEDDPICC methodology.

• Deliver certified Ignite Reading demonstrations once certified.

• Focus on small to mid-sized school districts.

• Navigate environments with multiple stakeholders and structured purchasing processes.

• Elevate enterprise-level or state-wide opportunities to the Director or VP.

• Collaborate with Customer Success for seamless transitions post-sale.

• Assist in pilot programs to facilitate broader adoption.

• Work with Directors on intricate or high-value opportunities when necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in K–12 education technology sales with a proven record of meeting quotas.

• Experience selling to school principals, curriculum directors, literacy coordinators, and school-level leaders.

• Familiarity with district procurement processes.

• Proven capability to independently manage small to mid-sized district opportunities from prospecting to closing.

• Active utilization of AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to enhance research, personalize outreach, and prepare for calls.

• Strong CRM management skills and comfort with tools like HubSpot and conversation intelligence platforms.

• An optimization mindset — consistently looking for ways to boost efficiency, improve conversion rates, and shorten sales cycles.

• A clear and confident communicator capable of educating district stakeholders without complicating the message.

• Coachable and growth-oriented — actively seeking feedback and promptly applying it.

• Ownership mentality — managing your pipeline with discipline and accountability.

• Resilient and persistent — professionally handling rejection while maintaining focus on long-term successes.

• Detail-oriented with strong HubSpot hygiene and dependable follow-through.

• Willingness to travel up to 65-70% of the time.
