This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Spearhead new business development by identifying, prospecting, and securing hotel partners globally for The Guestbook's cash back rewards program.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline, accurately predicting revenue and monitoring progress towards targets.
• Cultivate strong relationships with hotel decision-makers to enhance profitability and improve account retention.
• Oversee the entire sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery to contract negotiation and closing.
• Work collaboratively with the Partner Success Team to guarantee a smooth transition and onboarding process for newly acquired hotel partners.
• Evaluate traveler needs, current travel market trends, and potential partnerships from a return on investment perspective.
• Analyze competitor offerings to identify opportunities for differentiation.
• Represent The Guestbook at industry trade shows, conferences, and events to expand the network of new hotel partners.
• Identify opportunities for integrations and strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in a sales role with quotas, demonstrating a proven track record of surpassing revenue goals.
• Familiarity with hotel commercial sales and/or SaaS sales.
• Proven capability to build relationships and establish trust with hotel partners through consistent communication, in-person visits, and performance evaluations.
• Gather feedback and articulate the needs of hotel partners to inform core product, marketing, and sales processes.
• Ability to operate independently, concentrating on key outcomes while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Flexible and iterative thinker, always eager to learn, curious, innovative, and confident in the ability to effect change.
• Recognize the necessity for reporting, gather data, and create visually engaging presentations for both internal and external use.
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills, both in client interactions and among internal teams.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, capable of driving new initiatives and managing oneself—possessing an ownership mentality that flourishes in an entrepreneurial setting.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences, and other on-site meetings as required by the position.
