This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist the School Assessment team in effectively delivering and fulfilling assigned programs.
• Oversee multiple projects or a larger project within a specific program.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders, including vendors, cross-functional teams, and subcontractors.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with both internal resources and external clients.
• Provide prompt customer service and act as the primary day-to-day point of contact.
• Interpret and fulfill customer expectations and requirements.
• Manage projects through the stages of initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure.
• Keep project management plans, customer requirements, schedules, and program documentation up to date.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and resources to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and review project deliverables for quality assurance.
• Assist in the execution of statements of work and contracts.
• Oversee adjustments to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing approved solutions and workarounds.
• Recognize and apply process and quality enhancements, monitoring their effectiveness.
• Evaluate project performance, identify discrepancies, take corrective actions, and communicate outcomes.
• Aid in change control, scope documentation, estimates, pricing, and necessary documentation.
• Implement project plans and schedule tasks to meet customer deliverables efficiently.
• Prepare and deliver internal and external reports regarding program status, risks, and related matters.
• Support new business initiatives, which include drafting statements of work and change requests.
• Assist in financial reviews and documentation to ensure contracts remain within budget and margin expectations.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction while ensuring quality is maintained.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a project management role.
• PMP certification or a solid understanding and application of Project Management Institute (PMI) principles is a plus.
• Flexibility in the workplace is essential.
• Ability to make decisions based on limited information.
• Capacity to manage multiple, conflicting priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Significant background in customer service and project management.
• Understanding of team dynamics with the ability to cultivate a positive team atmosphere.
• Strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening, negotiation, and facilitation abilities.
• Capability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Some travel may be required.
