This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee daily interactions with a portfolio of Distributed Energy Resource (DER) partners.
• Manage partner-related projects using project management software, proactively identifying and addressing technical or operational performance challenges, and escalating significant issues to the senior business development team.
• Collaborate with EnergyHub’s Client Success, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure that all partners achieve the business and technical goals set by EnergyHub and its clients.
• Identify potential new DER partners and facilitate their onboarding onto our software platform and partner management ecosystem, which includes negotiating pricing and contract terms, operational onboarding, and technical integration.
• Represent EnergyHub and our utility clients by advocating for product and business process enhancements, and renegotiating contract terms when necessary.
• Assist the accounting team in managing the monthly partner invoicing process.
• Provide support to the Sales team by offering pre-sales technical and business consultation regarding partner capabilities.
• Investigate market opportunities and leading industry vendors to help pinpoint potential new partners for our ecosystem, and assist in developing the business case for integrating those partners’ devices with our platform.
• Build relationships with prospective partners through networking and participation in industry events.
• Willing to travel occasionally.
• Bachelor’s degree with four to six years of relevant work experience, ideally in a project management, consulting, or partnerships capacity.
• Skilled in establishing and nurturing effective relationships with both business and technical personnel across partner organizations and internal teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, with the ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects and work streams.
• Outstanding analytical abilities, with a talent for analyzing data sets to uncover trends and causes, and synthesizing information from various sources for enhanced insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical and business information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven experience in resolving complex issues involving multiple stakeholders and technology platforms, adopting a proactive approach to remove obstacles.
• Competent in making informed decisions with incomplete information and effectively influencing key factors to propel projects forward.
• Familiarity with contract and pricing terms, along with experience in negotiating and finalizing contracts with new technology partners.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
