This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Generate proactive sales opportunities, manage the pipeline, and close deals with partners.
• Collaborate with designated sales teams to create a regional partner strategy that ensures the success of both Partners and Cloudera.
• Achieve or surpass all sales targets.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of partners' business models and the motivations behind their collaboration with Cloudera.
• Clearly communicate partner success criteria within the organization.
• Develop a regional partner map that outlines current partner capabilities, capacities, and gaps.
• Create a regional partner business plan with measurable goals and milestones to achieve partner-influenced revenue metrics.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard essential local partners necessary to meet or exceed planned goals.
• Work closely with Cloudera’s corporate Business Development team to implement strategic partner go-to-market plays and provide insights for partner programs.
• Support the development of advanced partner solutions to foster revenue growth.
• Maintain and accurately report a partner sales forecast in SFDC with a 4X pipeline coverage.
• Conduct regular business reviews between Cloudera and priority partners.
• At least 7+ years of experience in direct and channel sales.
• Profound understanding of the current Data and AI ecosystem landscape and the software business.
• Demonstrated channel sales/alliance experience with measurable results in field execution with key partners.
• Ability to mentor direct sales representatives on the advantages of collaboration while sharing best practices.
• Must have a proven track record of success in enterprise technology sales, with a clear ability to meet or exceed sales goals and generate new business through partners.
• Must comprehend complex sales processes, build consensus, and adeptly develop sponsorship to drive sales and technical certification results at multiple levels.
• Direct experience in creating and executing partner business plans with both Global and regionally-sized partners.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, focus on details, and motivate both internal and external teams to achieve agreed-upon objectives.
• Ability to lead teams and projects through influence rather than direct management.
• Exceptional communication skills and a high energy level.
• Experience in both start-up and larger company environments, and working with partners of varying sizes.
