This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Collaborates with members of the Outside Sales team to enhance customer outreach and achieve significant market penetration.
• Well-organized and forward-thinking, with the capability to foster strong internal and cross-functional relationships.
• Secures new and repeat business by developing robust relationships with key customers and stakeholders through virtual meetings and outbound calls.
• Regularly meets or surpasses activity requirements consistently.
• Engages with schools and childcare centers frequently to evaluate emerging and ongoing needs.
• Conducts virtual product presentations aimed at familiarizing customers with proprietary services such as Complete Classrooms®, professional development, custom solutions, and more.
• Performs online research to collect data related to local, state, and national trends as well as funding opportunities in early learning and elementary education.
• Collaborates with department leadership to develop and adjust sales strategies.
• Works alongside outside sales, retail, and the professional services group to meet the needs of educators.
• Identifies sales leads and cooperates with various members of the sales team to bolster the market.
• Participates in weekly team meetings to discuss departmental initiatives and strategies.
• Assists the team with special projects, including collaboration with the outside sales force and involvement in national and/or state campaigns.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience in making high-volume outbound sales calls in an Inside Sales and/or Outside Sales capacity is highly advantageous.
• Preferred qualifications include a proven record of sales success within the Early Childhood (EC) and K–5 education sectors, along with a deep understanding of the industry's dynamics and decision-making processes.
• A strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and the ability to deliver exceptional work from home.
• Solid presentation skills with the ability to address customer needs at various levels (teachers, administrators, directors).
• Highly receptive to coaching, with a strong eagerness to learn and accept constructive feedback.
• Goal-oriented and self-driven, with a personal ambition to grow and succeed.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
