This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Create and implement sales initiatives focused on partnerships, including targeted growth strategies and call days.
• Aid in managing the sales pipeline, prioritizing opportunities, and executing sales to enhance vendor success rates.
• Educate and promote technology products, services, marketing programs, and vendor initiatives to Staples sales teams.
• Qualify, prepare, and deliver intricate hardware, software, and service solutions to sales associates and teams interacting with customers.
• Assist in formulating pricing strategies, deal registrations, product configurations, availability management, and lead qualification.
• Collaborate with merchants, product development managers, and vendor stakeholders to devise campaigns that foster profitable growth.
• Provide program updates, product enhancements, and strategic communications to both internal and external partners.
• Oversee vendor portal operations and contribute to the creation of sales collateral and training materials.
• Evaluate business performance metrics, identify trends, and offer recommendations to leadership and vendor teams.
• Support ongoing improvement initiatives through training programs, process optimizations, and vendor engagement efforts.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in selling desktop technology, computing devices, and peripherals to administrative and senior management-level clients.
• Proven direct account management experience in selling PC technology to corporate, commercial, and enterprise sectors.
• Background in developing sales proposals and providing operational and informational assistance.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Experience with business systems and ERP platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously while effectively managing multiple priorities.
• Experience in B2B sales of desktop technology, computing devices, and peripherals.
• Strong account management skills supporting corporate, commercial, or enterprise clients.
• Competence in crafting persuasive proposals and presenting technology solutions to a varied audience.
• Analytical mindset with experience in collecting, interpreting, and leveraging business data to inform recommendations.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Forms.
