• Cultivate, strengthen, and enhance referral partnerships with technology associates, human capital management partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors within the SMB sector.
• Establish and develop strategic referral networks and collaborations aimed at lead generation and identifying new partnership opportunities.
• Take the initiative to recognize and address emerging challenges, providing solutions by collaborating across departments such as Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
• Partner with Partner Marketing to innovate and implement distinctive initiatives that boost partner sales (e.g., educational events, emails, webinars, and more).
• Collaborate with partners to define business objectives and performance indicators (e.g., sales pipeline depth and revenue generation) to create and execute effective go-to-market strategies and demand-generation initiatives.
• Over 2 years of experience in building, developing, and sustaining relationships with technology and human capital management (HCM) partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space (including territory sales and business development).
• Proven success in a quota-driven sales environment.
• Highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder capable of working independently.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.
• Resilient—quick to recover from setbacks, resourceful, and able to devise creative solutions.
• Solutions-oriented—willing to engage directly in managing and resolving operational partnership challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—trusted by others and known for advocating for your beliefs.
• Tech-savvy—preferred familiarity with Salesforce for managing sales cycles.
• Growth mindset—open to feedback and accountable for personal performance.
• Coachable—capable of absorbing information, training, and guidance, and effectively implementing and executing them.
• Willingness to travel and be in the field 3 days per week.
