Part Time Virtual Endocrinologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual healthcare services for individuals with diabetes and various endocrine disorders.

• Oversee routine, acute, and complex endocrine issues, including Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Pituitary disorders, and Adrenal disorders.

• Analyze diagnostic tests and create personalized treatment strategies.

• Supervise insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) therapies.

• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, diabetes educators, and support personnel.

• Ensure timely documentation, coding, and billing within the Epic system.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD, DO, or equivalent international degree.

• Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.

• Must possess or be eligible to obtain Maryland medical licensure and DEA, as well as Delaware licensure and DEA.

• Excellent virtual communication and patient engagement abilities, with a comfort level using video technology.

• Preference for candidates with telehealth experience.
