Part-Time Vape Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Travel to designated locations as per the schedule to carry out compliance checks.

• Conduct routine inspections of Vape retailers and fill out compliance check inspection forms.

• Identify and document pertinent facts and findings necessary to complete the assigned inspections.

• Conduct interviews and inspections with key business officials in a professional manner.

• Capture and gather high-quality photographs of evidence related to the requested information from the inspection form.

• Provide timely, accurate, and high-quality reports on all inspections conducted.

• Prepare a narrative report highlighting potential compliance issues or violations.

• Comply with strict regulations governing the execution of inspections.

• Inspectors may be required to testify as witnesses, if requested, in administrative hearings and court proceedings related to the inspections they performed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a STATE employee in the food, drug, or health sector and be able to secure credentials and a commission to conduct inspections.

• Must be able to coordinate inspections and accurately document information obtained from inspection sites for reporting purposes.

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail.

• Proficient in using tools, equipment, and systems to accomplish tasks.

• Exhibits exceptional time management and organizational skills.

• Capable of passing a background investigation.

• Must be able to obtain a commission.

• Must not have any conflict of interest with the assigned retail shops.

• Must own and be capable of operating a motor vehicle.

• Must possess a valid real ID (or passport) and be able to travel within the country.

• Must have at least one valid credit card for work-related travel, which will be reimbursed.
