Part Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Fee For Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients via ongoing telemedicine.

• Provide treatment to a varied clientele facing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD.

• Prescribe medications as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement care plans.

• Complete and/or administer necessary paperwork and assessment instruments.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff concerning clients, programs, and services.

• Join the ADHD Clinic and accept clients requiring ADHD treatment.

• Refer clients to in-person providers when symptoms are too severe for telemedicine-only care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

• Board Certification is mandatory.

• A Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the state is required.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• A minimum of three years of experience is beneficial.

• At least 1 year of experience in psychiatric practice is required.

• Must be licensed and reside in South Carolina.

• Availability for 15–20 hours per week for part-time employment.

• Required to undergo in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a brief examination.

• Must be willing to treat clients aged 14 and older.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hiring.

• This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
