Part Time Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide necessary physician oversight for nurse practitioners in compliance with Georgia state regulations.

• Conduct virtual meetings at least quarterly with supervised nurse practitioners to:

• Review clinical cases.

• Offer guidance and mentorship.

• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care.

• Perform periodic chart reviews and quality assurance evaluations.

• Be available for clinical consultations as needed.

• Collaborate with clinical leadership to enhance:

• Ongoing quality improvement efforts.

• Development and updates of protocols.

• Adherence to regulatory and payer requirements.

• Maintain appropriate documentation of supervisory activities as mandated by the state.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid GA MD license and DEA license.

• Board certification in a pertinent specialty (e.g., Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, or Neurology is highly preferred).

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and educate patients and their families.

• Willingness to engage in continuous training and professional development.

• Dedication to ethical and legal healthcare practices.
