This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Spearhead enhancements of post-acute clinical programs by leading strategy, design, and execution.
β’ Deliver prompt expert medical evaluations for acute (ED) and post-acute care services (SNF, IRF, LTACH, HH).
β’ Record clinical review findings, actions, and outcomes in line with policy and regulatory and accreditation standards.
β’ Offer guidance on clinical operational matters related to the ED, as well as acute and post-acute care programs.
β’ Work collaboratively with acute ED providers to facilitate and/or support care transitions.
β’ Recognize and create opportunities for innovation to enhance effectiveness and quality, including educational development, training, and issue resolution.
β’ Engage in client Joint Oversight Committees (JOCs) or partner/stakeholder meetings as necessary.
β’ Undertake additional job responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Doctoral degree in a pertinent medical field.
β’ Minimum of 6-8 years of applicable work experience.
β’ Active, unrestricted medical license (MD or DO).
β’ Board certification in a relevant specialty.
