This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead the clinical team that supports maternal and pediatric populations, offering both clinical and operational guidance for complex care programs in these areas.
β’ Supervise the creation, implementation, and upkeep of clinical standards, evidence-based care pathways, and educational resources across maternal and pediatric health initiatives.
β’ Oversee clinicians with defined performance expectations that encompass productivity, documentation, clinical quality, and safety standards.
β’ Collaborate with other clinical leaders and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless coordination of services for members requiring multi-specialty care.
β’ Act as the clinical authority for maternal and pediatric care and case management programs, providing oversight of clinical standards, escalations, and care pathways in both areas.
β’ Education: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
β’ Clinical Experience: Board certified in family medicine, med-peds, or a related specialty.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience caring for prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric patients in a generalist setting, with the ability to utilize that clinical perspective for population health leadership.
β’ Licensure: Active medical license in good standing in the state of residence; must be willing to obtain licenses in additional states if required.
β’ Operations and Performance: Proven experience leading clinicians in a performance-driven environment, employing quality, productivity, and operational metrics to foster accountability and improvement.
β’ Preferred: Experience in digital health or virtual care delivery models.
β’ Comfort with the integration of clinical AI tools into daily workflows and direct care delivery.
β’ Understanding of the medical, behavioral, and social determinants that contribute to poor outcomes and preventable costs within complex populations.
β’ Resides in a physician compact-eligible state.
