Part Time Medical Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Deliver necessary physician oversight for nurse practitioners providing infusion services in outpatient infusion environments.

• Conduct virtual meetings with supervised nurse practitioners at least quarterly.

• Review clinical cases thoroughly.

• Offer guidance and mentorship to team members.

• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care.

• Execute periodic chart reviews and quality assurance assessments.

• Be available for clinical consultations as required.

• Collaborate with clinical leadership on initiatives for quality improvement.

• Assist in the development and updating of protocols.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and payer requirements.

• Keep accurate documentation of supervisory activities as mandated by state regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active CO MD license and DEA license.

• Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, or Neurology is highly preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with other healthcare professionals and educating patients and their families.

• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.

• Dedication to ethical and legal practices in healthcare delivery.

• Must provide physician supervision for nurse practitioners in compliance with Colorado state regulations.
