This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Content & Brand Authority: Convert the Founder’s extensive insights, talks, and strategic concepts into captivating short-form content (primarily for LinkedIn), ensuring a refined, conversational tone.
• Strategic Distribution: Take charge of enhancing the LinkedIn personal brand and company page, applying proactive engagement strategies to connect with founders, investors, and ecosystem partners.
• Pipeline & CRM Architecture: Develop and sustain the CRM database, monitoring relationships across clients, investors, and specialists to make certain that no opportunity is overlooked.
• Research & Opportunity Scouting: Locate and secure impactful speaking opportunities, podcast features, and community memberships; carry out market research to bolster client investment readiness.
• Sales Asset Development: Design and refresh high-quality presentation decks, brochures, and digital sales materials using tools like Better Proposals to assist the business development lifecycle.
• Lead Nurture & Conversion: Oversee inbound interest, qualify leads, and create newsletter/email marketing campaigns to turn audience engagement into significant commercial conversations.
• Performance Analytics: Track platform performance and audience growth, utilizing data-driven insights to suggest enhancements to the growth engine.
• Exceptional Communication: Advanced writing and editing abilities with a talent for business storytelling and a keen eye for detail.
• LinkedIn Expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing and expanding LinkedIn profiles for businesses or prominent personal brands.
• Content Repurposing: Capability to distill a single piece of long-form content into various high-performing formats.
• Operational Excellence: Highly organized and adept at managing multiple workstreams, from CRM upkeep to event research.
• Commercially Astute: A proactive mindset that recognizes the distinction between 'vanity metrics' and authentic business prospects.
• Previous experience supporting a Founder or a specialized consultancy.
• A foundational understanding of the B2B tech, startup, or venture capital ecosystems.
• Experience with basic video editing for short-form social content (Reels/Shorts).
• Required Software Skills: CRM Systems (Implementation and management), Canva (Visual asset creation), Better Proposals (or similar proposal software), Microsoft Office 365 (Advanced PowerPoint and Word), Calendly, and Google Workspace.
• Direct mentorship from a high-profile Founder with extensive experience in scaling and exits.
• Substantial exposure to the investment readiness process and board-level decision-making.
• Fully remote role with a significant degree of autonomy and ownership.
