Part Time Japanese Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii.

📋 Description

• Provide lessons that align with Berlitz teaching principles, emphasizing the objectives, needs, and interests of students.

• Carry out level assessments and needs analyses as directed by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

• Engage with individual and group students at the Learning Center, at designated offsite locations, or in virtual settings as assigned by the Service Delivery Manager.

• Regularly meet with the Academic Specialist to take part in lesson evaluations and coaching plans aimed at enhancing teaching skills and achieving SMART goals.

• Complete training and professional development modules via the @Berlitz Learning website and/or through in-person live sessions assigned by the Academic Specialist.

• Maintain up-to-date records of student pedagogy and attendance.

• Incorporate learning technology into teaching programs and manage shared teaching resources.

• Carry out responsibilities necessary for proper execution as delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the US.

• A four-year college or university degree, or equivalent experience, is required.

• Must be a native fluent speaker in the language(s) to be taught.

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Flexibility in working hours is essential.

• Ability to take initiative and work independently is necessary.

• Availability during daytime hours is required.
