Part-time Instructor – EDUC 436 – Inclusive Practices II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• This course aims to equip preservice teachers with insights into the learning strengths and challenges faced by students with exceptionalities.

• The focus will be on collaborative team planning, the professional support available for students with diverse learning needs, the assessment and education referral process, and the creation of individualized educational plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a foundational understanding and experience working within MK schools;

• Have a proven track record as exceptional educators in previous teaching roles;

• Hold a PhD or MEd (or equivalent) along with substantial teaching experience.

• Demonstrate leadership in their respective fields.

• Preference will be given to Mi’kmaw speakers or individuals with some familiarity and fluency in the language.
