This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
β’ Execute the monthly end-to-end payroll process utilizing automated systems.
β’ Oversee the monthly EMP201 submissions and perform bi-annual EMP501 employer reconciliations through e@syFile or eFiling.
β’ Manage monthly UIF declarations and submissions for COIDA Return of Earnings.
β’ Ensure compliance with all employment practices in accordance with legal standards.
β’ Support the annual Employment Equity (EE) reporting and WSP/ATR submissions to the relevant SETAs.
β’ Safeguard confidential employee records in compliance with POPIA.
β’ Prepare and submit Company Annual Returns while maintaining statutory company documentation.
β’ Maintain daily financial ledgers by processing supplier invoices via cloud accounting software and conducting bank reconciliations.
β’ 3β5+ years of experience in a comparable multi-functional role involving payroll, bookkeeping, and company secretarial duties within the South African framework.
β’ National Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Human Resources, Corporate Governance, or Commerce.
β’ Advanced skills in SARS e@syFile, SARS eFiling, CIPC E-Services, QuickBooks Accounting Software, and MS Excel.
β’ Strong understanding of local legislation (BCEA, POPIA, COIDA, Income Tax Act, and the Companies Act).
β’ High level of integrity when handling sensitive payroll and corporate information.
β’ Outstanding time-management abilities to effectively manage overlapping monthly deadlines for CIPC, SARS, and internal processes.
β’ Flexible and remote working options.
