Part-time Faculty, School Psychology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver meaningful and prompt feedback to students on their assessment tasks.

• Foster a supportive, safe, and inclusive learning atmosphere that prioritizes students.

• Complete all necessary assignments by established deadlines, including final grades, assessments, grading rubrics, and input for grade appeals.

• Engage in relevant professional development and/or scholarly activities as required.

• Offer insights to the course lead regarding the course material.

• Recognize students at risk and collaborate with student services to support them.

• Collaborate closely with the Academic Program Director and other faculty members to enhance program quality, promote student engagement, and ensure student success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in school psychology/psychology from a regionally accredited institution.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing and credentialed school psychologist.

• A current, state-issued credential in school psychology.

• If the credential was issued by a state other than California, you must obtain a California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential within one year of hire.

• Knowledge and proficiency in WISC-V, WIAT-4, KTEA-3, KABC-II NU, and WJ V assessments.

• Experience administering assessments using an iPad.

• Availability to teach Saturday Zoom Residency courses.

• Unofficial transcripts of the highest degree obtained are required at the time of application.

• Preferred: At least 2 years of teaching experience in higher education.

• Preferred: A terminal degree in Psychology.

• A cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a statement of teaching experience are required.
