Part-Time Faculty, Math

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional instruction utilizing a pre-established curriculum.

• Conduct competency-based assessments and provide timely feedback within 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.

• Maintain availability via phone, email, and in the courseroom within 48 hours to foster learner success.

• Employ the online learning platform to enhance the educational experience.

• Set high expectations and clearly communicate evaluation criteria to students.

• Comply with University policies and procedures.

• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and mandatory training sessions.

• Engage in additional activities as required by the university.

• Accept assignments on a continuous rolling-enrollment basis based on expertise and institutional needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree or higher in Math or a related discipline.

• All degrees must be awarded by a regionally accredited institution.

• Required certificates, licenses, and unofficial transcripts for all graduate degrees must be submitted.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in the discipline for undergraduate levels, and three years for graduate levels.

• Research, scholarship, or notable achievements in the discipline are necessary for graduate-level roles.

• Doctoral-level experience in conducting and supervising research in the discipline is required.

• Preferably three years of teaching experience.

• Proven knowledge of academic evaluation methods.

• Strong oral presentation, planning, and organizational skills regarding course objectives.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Familiarity with academic technology is essential.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Capacity to handle potentially stressful situations in a professional and ethical manner.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not offered.

• Reliable internet access, phone, computer, privacy, and capability to conduct video conferencing from a remote location.

• Ability to fulfill critical-thinking and problem-solving responsibilities associated with the position.

• Competence in accessing information using a computer.
