Part-Time Faculty, Math

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional instruction based on a pre-established curriculum.

• Provide ongoing support for assignments in alignment with expertise and institutional requirements.

• Be accessible within a 48-hour timeframe, excluding weekends and holidays, via phone, email, and within the courseroom.

• Conduct competency-based assessments and provide prompt feedback to facilitate learners' academic achievements.

• Leverage the online learning platform to enhance the educational experience.

• Set high expectations and ensure that learners comprehend the evaluation criteria.

• Comply with university policies and procedures.

• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and/or training sessions as necessary.

• Engage in additional activities based on university requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of professional experience in the discipline for undergraduate-level positions and three years for graduate-level roles.

• Evidence of research, scholarship, or achievements in the discipline is essential for graduate-level positions.

• For doctoral-level roles, experience in conducting and supervising research in the discipline is required.

• A Master's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field is necessary.

• All degrees must be conferred and obtained from a regionally accredited institution.

• Submission of copies of required certifications, licenses, and unofficial transcripts for all graduate degrees is mandatory.

• Proven understanding of academic evaluation methodologies.

• Strong oral presentation skills, along with effective planning and organization of course objectives.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated familiarity with academic technology.

• Competent computer skills.

• Capability to navigate potentially stressful situations in a professional and ethical manner.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within the United States if business needs arise.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Access to a computer, privacy, reliable internet connectivity, phone, and the ability to participate in video conferences is essential.

• Must meet critical thinking and problem-solving requirements relevant to job responsibilities.

• Availability to work over 40 hours per week when business demands necessitate it.

• Ability to retrieve information using a computer.
