This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Assist in the planning and execution of PLM’s Vision Dinners, encompassing logistics, speaker coordination, guest communication, venue negotiations, volunteer coordination, oversight of table host recruitment, and timelines.
• Oversee RSVP tracking, table assignments, seating arrangements, check-in procedures, and the financial partner experience flow.
• Coordinate event volunteers and staff roles to ensure smooth execution of events.
• Provide support for post-event engagement and the long-term cultivation of financial partners.
• Organize smaller financial partner events throughout the year.
• Manage event logistics, venue coordination, and event materials.
• Maintain comprehensive partner interaction records in the CRM and Google Sheets.
• Ensure donor databases and contact lists are consistently updated.
• Uphold consistent messaging and branding in all donor communications.
• Act as a professional and welcoming point of contact for inquiries via phone and email.
• Monitor and respond to emails and phone calls promptly.
• Assist with data entry, document preparation, and management of the CRM.
• Support leadership initiatives and development efforts through additional administrative tasks as required.
• Strong alignment with Protect Life Michigan’s mission, vision, and values.
• Enthusiastic about nonprofit development and partner engagement.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, anticipate needs, and take initiative.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills; capable of tracking and completing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping capabilities.
• Comfortable managing confidential information with discretion.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in writing engaging Cultivation Letters, stories, and emails in a professional tone.
• Comfortable making outreach calls to partners and scheduling calls and meetings.
• Familiarity with CRMs and mail merge tools is essential.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel is required.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Calendly is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of email marketing platforms is an advantage.
• Prior experience in event planning and/or financial partner growth is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record and impressive results in event planning or organization.
• Ability to cultivate productive relationships with supporters, students, and the community.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
• Availability to work approximately 20 to 25 hours per week.
• Supportive of the ministry-centered personal support-raising model and readiness to actively build a personal support team.
