Part-Time Cyber Strategy Subject Matter Expert, SME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Assist in formulating a cybersecurity strategy, governance framework, and an implementation plan aimed at enhancing cybersecurity capabilities.

• Provide guidance to leadership on cyber planning, governance, and risk management to ensure long-term mission effectiveness and organizational resilience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Executive-level professional experience at the E9/O6/GS-15 (or equivalent) tier.

• Proven track record in leading policy and planning initiatives within intricate military or governmental cyber environments.

• Background as a senior strategic planner focused on cyberspace planning and operations.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and guidelines to meet organizational security needs and regulatory standards.

• Familiarity with strategies, programs, tools, and security measures used for formulating and executing plans that address critical cyber threats.

• Proven ability to analyze military strategic plans across diverse sources, disciplines, and strategic frameworks, drawing insights regarding their implications.

• Comprehensive understanding of strategy formulation and design of lines of effort to aid in planning, execution, and assessment.

• Knowledge of enterprise governance frameworks and processes, including oversight responsibilities, executive management duties, and reporting systems related to cybersecurity.

• Extensive knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing cybersecurity risks.

• Active U.S. Secret Security clearance.
