Part-Time Crop Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct field inspections

• Interpret maps and aerial photographs

• Measure agricultural fields

• Ascend storage bins

• Review crop-loss assessments with producers

• Process claims for all major crops, policy/plan types, and growth stages

• Effectively communicate regulations and interpretations to producers, agents, and Company staff regarding the claims process

• Remain updated with RMA requirements

• Complete and uphold CAPP certification while working on multi-peril crop insurance claims

• Maintain a State Adjuster License where necessary

⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in crop insurance adjusting or a background in agriculture is preferred

• High school diploma or GED is required

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or an agriculture-related field is preferred

• Fundamental computer skills are necessary

• Proficiency in using a computer, printer, scanner, the Internet, and Microsoft Office Products

• Must be available to attend all Company-mandated training sessions and conferences

• Willingness to travel for work-related purposes for periods exceeding 24 hours

• Capability to physically climb heights greater than 10 feet

• Ability to walk distances over ¼ mile on uneven terrain

• Capacity to stand without rest for periods longer than one hour

• A valid driver’s license, a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and personal vehicle are required

• Must not require current or future work-authorization sponsorship
