This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Create and implement evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans.
• Establish meaningful objectives and practical strategies utilizing a Positive Behaviour Support framework.
• Aim to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices.
• Empower families, carers, friends, and other significant individuals in a participant’s life by enhancing their skills and confidence.
• Advocate for individuals needing support and ensure their voices are heard.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
• Assist individuals with disabilities, along with their families and support systems, to foster meaningful and practical change.
• A degree in an allied health field such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Social Work.
• Proven experience in developing, executing, and evaluating Behaviour Support Plans.
• Possess Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
• A sincere enthusiasm for working within the disability sector.
• Capability to work independently while receiving team support.
