Part Time Adjunct Faculty – Nursing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Instructional faculty members report directly to the Department Chair who oversees their specific course or content area.

• Regular and meaningful engagement with students is expected through email, announcements, and online discussion forums.

• Provide prompt and high-quality feedback on student submissions.

• Conduct weekly virtual office hours.

• Complete all University-mandated training and participate in required pre-term meetings.

• Respond to all student and University communications within 48 hours.

• Use provided rubrics to grade assignments in a timely manner and offer narrative feedback that outlines both strengths and areas for improvement.

• Foster a supportive environment that encourages open dialogue, collaboration, and opportunities for academic growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctoral or terminal degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid New York Registered Nurse licensure or a commitment to apply for licensure in New York state.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and accurately; a friendly and persuasive style in both speaking and writing is essential.

• Experience in Nursing Education encompassing teaching-learning strategies, educational technologies, writing course and module outcomes, curriculum development, assessment and evaluation strategies, and research, among others.
