Parametric Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Create geometry algorithms

• Engage in computational optimization

• Develop internal tools

• Participate in cloud and backend development

• Focus on developing the standalone product, with approximately 99% of the role dedicated to C# programming

• Write code that interfaces with the product's 3D engine

• Work closely with the product lead as part of the dedicated product team

• Collaborate with in-house Unreal specialists on user interface projects

• Operate within a diverse role that may evolve, with responsibilities tailored around skills, interests, and shifting priorities

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of C# experience at an expert or advanced level; C# is the primary language for the product, and this requirement is non-negotiable.

• At least 2 years of AWS experience with practical knowledge, or experience with another leading cloud provider such as Azure or GCP, with a readiness to adopt AWS.

• More than 3 years of experience in AEC computational design or geometry, demonstrating a solid understanding. Experience in computational or algorithmic design from related fields such as manufacturing, robotics, CAD, simulation, or gaming may be considered as a valid substitute.

• 2 to 3 years of applied computational optimization experience, or a robust background in applied mathematics/algorithms with proven optimization experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience at a mid-to-senior level is recommended, reflecting the expertise needed for core C# development tasks.

• 1 to 2 years of experience with Unity, Unreal, or 3D game engines with basic familiarity is preferred.

• A foundational understanding of 3D vector mathematics, mesh geometry, rendering, and shaders is advantageous.
