Paralegal – Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acts as the primary paralegal for commercial real estate timberland transactions.

• Prepares closing documentation.

• Oversees and coordinates extensive and intricate commercial real estate transactions.

• Takes a leading role in the review of title, legal descriptions, and GIS mapping.

• Maintains checklists and a tickler system to ensure all due diligence tasks are completed.

• Assembles closing binders and follows up on any outstanding post-closing issues.

• Utilizes, develops, or establishes procedures for document organization.

• Maintains files that reflect work products and progress on significant projects.

• Creates and keeps transactional files up to date.

• Performs additional work-related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• A paralegal certificate is preferred.

• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in commercial real estate is required.

• Previous experience with timberland or agricultural properties is strongly preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
