This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.
• Supports attorneys by addressing interrogatories and drafting motions, complaints, briefs, and various legal documents.
• Conducts all forms of legal support tasks assigned, including research as allowed by the regulations of the State Bar.
• Collects, examines, and summarizes medical records under the guidance of trial attorneys, and coordinates reviews by experts when necessary.
• Organizes medical examinations.
• Aids attorneys in drafting motions and investigating legal issues related to them.
• Assists attorneys with witness interviews in preparation for and during trials as needed.
• Helps attorneys in assembling documents and evidence for trial purposes.
• Carries out additional tasks as assigned.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Completion of a 2-year Associate's Degree or 3 years of experience working as a Paralegal.
• Possession of a Paralegal certificate, a degree in paralegal studies, or at least one year of law school completed.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Certification as a Paralegal from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved program.
• One year of experience in a civil litigation law firm is preferred.
