This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of matter tracking and case file management for a high-volume docket that spans various jurisdictions, ensuring all records are precise and up-to-date.

• Perform discovery and trial preparation activities, which include document production, coordinating depositions, and managing exhibits.

• Develop enhanced processes and tools to minimize manual workloads and support the Litigation team's increasing caseload.

• Assist the team in addressing subpoenas, summons, levies, garnishments, and other civil requests from third parties.

• Ensure efficient deadline management by scheduling all case milestones, court dates, and filing deadlines with complete accuracy.

• Collaborate with outside counsel and government entities regarding case logistics, document exchanges, and scheduling arrangements.

• Oversee small claims court cases, which involves preparing filings, coordinating court appearances, and tracking case outcomes across relevant jurisdictions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, including direct management of case dockets with over 50 matters across multiple jurisdictions.

• Proven capability to manage discovery processes from start to finish, including experience with e-discovery platforms, document review, and production.

• A history of developing or enhancing operational processes that have decreased manual effort or improved accuracy for legal teams.

• Experience in responding to third-party legal requests such as subpoenas, summons, levies, and garnishments.

• Knowledge of litigation related to financial services, cryptocurrency, or technology companies.

• Responsible utilization of generative AI, ensuring human oversight to produce business-ready outputs and achieve measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

• Experience managing small claims court matters, including drafting necessary filings and coordinating court appearances.
