Paralegal, Legal Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments of cross-border commercial agreements, including vendor, banking, and PSP contracts.

• Oversee the execution of contracts, monitor key terms, and maintain contract documentation across group entities.

• Assist in negotiations by identifying legal and commercial risks for escalation to legal counsel.

• Ensure uniformity and coherence of contractual standards across various jurisdictions.

• Monitor and manage essential contract terms throughout the group.

• Support AML, KYC, sanctions, and financial crime compliance initiatives in collaboration with Legal and Compliance.

• Help with regulatory filings, licensing requests, and ongoing submissions.

• Manage the onboarding and due diligence processes for PSPs, banks, and key counterparties.

• Conduct relevant legal research.

• Provide advice on FX regulatory frameworks.

• Assist in the implementation of group-wide legal and compliance policies.

• Coordinate with external counsel, regulators, and service providers as required.

• Translate legal and regulatory requirements into straightforward, actionable guidance for internal teams.

• Monitor regulatory obligations and help ensure timely compliance across jurisdictions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong familiarity with financial services, fintech, FX, or crypto-related sectors.

• Significant experience in commercial contracting and contract lifecycle management.

• Practical experience in supporting AML, KYC, sanctions, or financial compliance processes.

• Background working with banks, PSPs, or regulated entities.

• Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities across different time zones.

• Exceptionally clear and responsive communicator in a remote setting.

• 5–7 years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with multi-entity or cross-border corporate structures.

• A law degree is preferred.
