Paralegal / Intake Specialist, Bilingual English – Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Conduct interviews with prospective clients through phone and email to gather pertinent information about their legal issues.

• Perform initial research to determine the potential viability of claims.

• Assess whether potential cases are in line with the firm's areas of expertise and practice.

• Arrange consultations between qualified prospects and attorneys.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new clients and prepare initial case documentation and files.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of client information and records within the firm's systems.

• Establish and nurture referral relationships with other law firms and professionals.

• Provide general administrative support as required.

• Communicate with clients through phone, email, and various channels to address inquiries and provide updates.

• Conduct preliminary legal and factual research and prepare information for attorney review.

• Assist with case management and administrative responsibilities.

• Attend meetings and accurately document notes as necessary.

• Organize documents for court filings, case management, and record-keeping.

• Transcribe, proofread, and prepare legal documents and correspondence.

• Manage attorney schedules, client appointments, consultations, and critical deadlines.

• Uphold strict confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 1 year of experience in office or administrative roles.

• More than 1 year of experience in Personal Injury law.

• At least 1 year of experience working with English-speaking clients.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

• Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in common office software with a willingness to learn legal case management systems.
