This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee and manage assigned cases on a monthly basis, ensuring all post-filing activities are monitored and acted upon promptly.
• Inform clients of USCIS notices in a timely manner and clearly explain subsequent steps.
• Process daily mail and direct USCIS correspondence to the correct case file and designated team member.
• Draft and prepare immigration forms as necessary for post-filing case activities.
• Keep accurate and current case records in the firm's legal database.
• Adhere to established communication protocols, guidelines, and firm policies consistently.
• Prepare clients for USCIS interviews by ensuring they are well-informed and ready before their appointments.
• Organize interview documentation, review case files for completeness, and highlight any outstanding issues to the legal team.
• Act as a supportive resource for clients during the interview process, alleviating fears and fostering confidence.
• Professionally and efficiently manage a high volume of incoming client calls.
• Assess and address client needs to provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive information using the appropriate tools and resources.
• Cultivate sustainable, trust-based relationships with clients through open, empathetic, and consistent communication.
• Address client complaints and concerns, offering suitable solutions and following up within established timeframes to ensure resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of all client interactions, account updates, and case activities.
• Go above and beyond to ensure every client feels informed, supported, and valued throughout their case journey.
• 2–4 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or in legal support with direct involvement in packet preparation and filing review is required.
• Proven understanding of USCIS and EOIR filing requirements, including form instructions, filing fees, evidence standards, and implications of RFEs.
• Familiarity with various immigration form types, including but not limited to I-485, I-130, I-589, and EOIR filings; ability to recognize incorrect form versions or missing elements.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy in document handling, review, and assembly.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple filings concurrently in a deadline-oriented setting.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across legal and administrative teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Filevine or similar legal case management systems is preferred.
