This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Personal Injury Paralegal is essential in providing support to clients and attorneys throughout the entire process of a personal injury case.
• Responsibilities encompass case development, coordination of medical records and liens, preparation of demands, negotiation assistance, and support during litigation.
• You will collaborate closely with attorneys, medical providers, insurance companies, and other third parties to ensure the efficient progression of cases toward resolution.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients by providing updates and collecting information as the case advances.
• Prepare clients for statements, depositions, medical appointments, and other significant events.
• Request, track, and organize medical records and bills from healthcare providers.
• Summarize or review medical information to aid in case development and demand preparation.
• Identify, monitor, and manage liens, insurance coverage, medical payments, and other financial aspects of the case.
• Assist in gathering information for settlement packages, which include medical summaries, wage data, and supporting evidence.
• Draft routine legal documents such as discovery responses, correspondence, and case outlines.
• Maintain precise, up-to-date case information within the firm’s case management system.
• 1–2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal (including auto, premises, workers’ compensation, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of personal injury procedures from intake to settlement or litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
• Capability to manage multiple cases and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in technology and case management systems.
• Professional demeanor, empathy, and the ability to assist clients in challenging situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
