This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assist the Legal Department under the direction of the General Counsel.

• Review, edit, and oversee contracts for U.S. operations under the guidance of an attorney.

• Maintain contract management systems, monitoring key dates, renewals, and deliverables.

• Aid in compliance monitoring and prepare relevant compliance reports and documentation.

• Draft and uphold internal policies and procedures for U.S. and Philippines operations for attorney review.

• Track filing deadlines and support U.S. and Philippine tax compliance documentation.

• Prepare and file registrations, permits, annual reports, and other corporate compliance submissions.

• Coordinate documentation for insurance coverage and assist in insurance procurement.

• Gather and organize documents and facts for internal investigations.

• Secure necessary signatures for procurements and proposals.

• Manage legal department tasks through ticketing or workflow management systems.

• Provide general litigation and corporate legal support as assigned.

• Assist with Philippines employment law compliance and HR legal documentation.

• Maintain compliance calendars for filings, renewals, licenses, permits, and registrations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate; a law degree or background in legal studies is advantageous but not mandatory.

• 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in a comparable legal support position.

• Residing in the Philippines with night shift work hours to align with the U.S. team.

• Experience or formal education related to U.S. law is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with U.S. corporate compliance, contracts, or tax filings is desirable.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and escalating issues as necessary.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote U.S.-based team.

• Commitment to ethical, mission-driven legal work.

• Successful completion of a background check, including criminal history, prior employment, and education verification.
