PAM Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Oversee privileged accounts and secrets within the Privileged Access Management (PAM) framework.

• Support operational activities related to access rotation, auditing, and logging for privileged sessions.

• Conduct access reviews and prepare audit and compliance reports for privileged accounts, secrets, and access policies.

• Assist in recognizing risks and issues, formulating recommendations to mitigate significant risks and complex challenges.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for accounts, servers, applications, and secrets to Privilege Cloud utilizing CyberArk connectors and plugins.

• Engage in incident resolution and fulfill service requests pertaining to access, configurations, and artifacts for Privileged Access Management.

• Execute root cause analysis and implement mitigation or elimination strategies for issues, collaborating with vendors when necessary.

• Develop and maintain documentation, and conduct training sessions focusing on use cases, best practices, and standard operating procedures for PAM.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience with CyberArk Privilege Cloud.

• A university degree in Business, Information Technology, or a relevant combination of education and industry certifications (e.g., CyberArk CDE or Guardian, CyberArk Trustee/Defender, etc.).

• Preferably experienced in scripting with PowerShell or Python.

• Proficient in managing secrets using CyberArk through Secrets Hub, Conjur, etc.

• Familiarity with working in and integrating cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, etc.

• Experience with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools like Sysmon, SIEM, etc.
