• Take charge of the programmatic display strategy encompassing awareness, consideration, and demand initiatives, which includes video activation on platforms like YouTube and Connected TV.
• Strategize, initiate, and oversee campaigns on Demand Side Platforms (e.g., DV360, Google Adwords, YouTube), focusing on audience strategy, inventory selection, and media mix decisions.
• Develop and implement the media buy strategy for key trade publications, covering site selection, sponsorships, premium placements, and contextual alignment.
• Manage the paid media budget, which involves planning, allocation, forecasting, pacing, and performance-based budget adjustments.
• Create and continually enhance targeting strategies (first- and third-party data, contextual, intent, ABM, retargeting) across display, trade media, and video platforms.
• Provide support and direction for display and video media strategies across different regions, ensuring a cohesive approach while accommodating local nuances.
• Formulate and implement the media buy strategy for essential trade publications, as well as video placements on YouTube and Connected TV.
• Lead negotiations with publishers, platforms, and vendors to optimize value, audience quality, and performance while adhering to budget constraints.
• Utilize ZoomInfo Marketing to enhance audience strategy, account-based targeting, and activation across programmatic initiatives.
• Facilitate ongoing optimization of bids, budgets, pacing, creative rotation, frequency, and reach.
• Collaborate closely with analytics, web, and content teams to ensure effective measurement, attribution, landing-page performance, and lead conversion.
• Convert performance data into concise insights and recommendations for stakeholders—highlighting successes, challenges, and next steps.
• Oversee agency, vendor, and publisher/platform relationships, ensuring accountability for transparency, budget adherence, and results.
• Stay informed on industry changes (privacy, cookies, identity, AI-driven optimization) and proactively adapt the programmatic approach.
• Utilize strong project management skills to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a dynamic environment, ensuring deadlines and business objectives are achieved.
• Maintain high attention to detail while navigating shifting priorities and guaranteeing the quality of deliverables.
• 5–8+ years of experience in paid media with direct responsibility for managing a paid media budget.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of DSPs, audience strategies, and measurement frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of advertising platforms (Google Adwords, Zoominfo Marketing, etc.).
• Proficient in YouTube buying and measurement processes.
• Experience in keyword and contextual targeting, along with audience targeting techniques, capable of extracting actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Background in publisher-direct and trade publication media buying.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical mindset.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.
• Effective communicator capable of challenging ineffective or low-value media buys.
• Experience in B2B, enterprise, or long buying-cycle environments is preferred.
• Ability to engage, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with internal clients.
• Demonstrated capability in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to reprioritize multiple projects as deadlines and goals shift.
