This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Assist local governments and private non-profit organizations in their recovery efforts from natural disasters by utilizing federal funding programs, particularly the FEMA PA program.
• Facilitate the administrative procedures of the recovery program by gathering documentation related to damage assessments, financial data, facility maintenance logs, and other pertinent information.
• Aid clients in verifying that their expenses qualify for funding in accordance with the policies, processes, and compliance regulations of the FEMA PA program.
• Collaborate with clients to transform the gathered information into project development initiatives, specifically by crafting detailed FEMA PA Project Worksheets (PWs).
• Participate in additional recovery initiatives beyond the FEMA PA program as needed.
• At least two (2) years of professional experience, ideally in management consulting or in a capacity that directly supports the FEMA PA Program.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., economics, political science, public policy, emergency management, business administration).
• Prior experience in financial analysis and reconciliation.
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
