P2P Node.js Engineer

• Enhance and fortify essential P2P networking and storage frameworks

• Engage with a broad range of P2P technology applications

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of P2P protocols (Kademlia, BitTorrent, libp2p, hypercore)

• Proven experience in optimizing network protocols for enhanced performance

• Advanced JavaScript expertise for developing high-performance networking solutions

• Comprehensive understanding of UDP and TCP/IP networking, including NAT traversal methods

• Experience in creating custom binary protocols and serialization formats

• Familiarity with cryptographic methods to ensure secure P2P communications

• Background in performance profiling and optimization of networked systems

• Over 5 years of experience in developing production-level P2P or distributed systems (preferred)

• Experience in optimizing JavaScript for low-latency networking applications (preferred)

• Knowledge of V8 internals and characteristics of JavaScript performance (preferred)

• Experience with libuv and asynchronous I/O in C (preferred)

• Contributions to open-source P2P initiatives or networking libraries (preferred)

• Experience in constructing reliable systems over unreliable networks (preferred)

• Familiarity with Node.js native addons and bridging between JavaScript and C (preferred)
