This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
β’ Identify, prospect, and secure new accounts within your designated territory.
β’ Establish a steady pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, and field activities.
β’ Create and implement a territory plan to maximize market coverage.
β’ Represent the brand at trade shows, regional events, and during in-office visits.
β’ Formulate a strategic sales cycle with your accounts based on growth potential and overall value.
β’ Act as the primary point of contact for existing accounts.
β’ Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers (practice owners, opticians, buyers).
β’ Promote product adoption and enhance share of wallet within active accounts.
β’ Conduct regular business reviews to ensure accounts are positioned for success.
β’ Meet KPIs through performance dashboards and account playbooks.
β’ Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps within your territory.
β’ Develop account-specific strategies to increase revenue and improve retention.
β’ Monitor and report on pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance metrics.
β’ Gather operational or product feedback from accounts to inform cross-functional improvements.
β’ Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to meet account needs.
β’ Lead confident, consultative discussions that reveal customer needs.
β’ Address pricing, product, and competitive objections with clarity and confidence.
β’ Tailor messaging based on account type, buyer persona, and stage in the sales cycle.
β’ 3β6+ years of experience in outside sales, territory sales, or account management.
β’ Proven success in prospecting, opening new accounts, and increasing territory revenue.
β’ Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
β’ Experience in the optical industry, including independent practices, optical chains, or wholesale eyewear.
β’ Proficiency in managing a complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
β’ Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data and develop territory strategies.
β’ Familiarity with CRM platforms for managing pipelines, customer interactions, and forecasting.
β’ Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
β’ Willingness to travel regularly within an assigned territory.
