This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish and nurture relationships with CIOs, IT executives, LOB executives, Program Managers, and other key stakeholders.
• Propel value-driven growth within the assigned account.
• Broaden the Databricks presence into new business units and applications.
• Surpass activity, pipeline, and revenue objectives.
• Monitor all customer information, including use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Employ a solution-oriented approach to sales and generate value for customers.
• Advocate for Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform, which is powered by Apache Spark™ and Delta Lake.
• Prioritize potential opportunities and utilize the appropriate resources.
• Develop a successful plan for both internal operations at Databricks and external engagements with your account.
• You have a proven track record of success in an early-stage company, demonstrating your ability to thrive with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in field sales within big data, Cloud, SaaS, and a consumption-based selling approach.
• Established relationships with CIOs, program managers, and key decision-makers at local accounts.
• Capability to distill technical features into value-driven benefits.
• Over 7 years of Enterprise Sales experience with a history of exceeding quotas in larger accounts.
• Focused management of a small portfolio of enterprise accounts rather than a wide territory.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
