This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Engage with new and existing customers to boost sales of JM Eagle products and services.
• Conduct research and profile potential sales targets to assess leads and build sales pipelines.
• Develop, implement, and execute a sales strategy aimed at increasing market share within a specific territory.
• Employ effective sales techniques to initiate contact, evaluate customer needs, and present relevant solutions that drive revenue for the organization.
• Prepare and deliver presentations or demonstrations that inform customers about offerings and facilitate the sales process.
• Address and resolve issues encountered during the sales process, ensuring a seamless transaction and a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company products and services, competitor positions, and industry standards.
• Cultivate strong relationships with strategic distributors and end users through prospecting and lead follow-up.
• Promote value-added services and solutions.
• Identify new opportunities with customers by leveraging relationships and asking market-related questions.
• Introduce new materials to customers while educating them on their uses and applications.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager and company leadership to develop proposals, contracts, and agreements to secure long-term business.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
• Four (4) years of successful business-to-business sales development and/or sales management experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience in Inside or Outside Sales within the agricultural/irrigation or building materials industry is highly preferred.
• Experience in establishing distribution channels is highly desirable.
• Must be willing to travel overnight 50% to 75% of the time.
• Possess intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Familiarity with AS400 and Sales Force is a plus.
