This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• The Outside Sales Representative (OSR) plays a crucial role in driving incremental sales growth and enhancing profitability through strong account relationships.
• Track key performance indicators for designated professional customers.
• Achieve or surpass Sales and Margin performance targets by collaborating with the Pro Sales Manager.
• Actively participate in local community events to consistently represent The Home Depot Pro brand and attract new business.
• Build and nurture new sales relationships.
• Collaborate with the Inside Sales Support Representative as a daily contact to facilitate a seamless quoting, ordering, and transaction experience for customers.
• Form effective partnerships with assigned customers by conducting in-person sales meetings.
• Create strategies aimed at expanding the customer base within the specified sales territory.
• Foster incremental sales growth by developing business relationships within assigned customer portfolios and through prospecting efforts.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in account management or sales management.
• Over 2 years of experience in the home improvement or home building industry.
• Proven professional advancement in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrates a strong capacity to develop and maintain an active network of relationships both within and outside the organization.
• Ability to leverage relationships to achieve sales and profitability objectives.
• In-depth understanding of Pro customer needs, with a focus on meeting 100% of their product, credit, and performance expectations.
• Ability to determine individual customer preferences for service and customize communications and customer-facing activities accordingly.
• Strong leadership and negotiation capabilities; skilled in persuading or influencing others.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and capable of communicating on a global scale.
