This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• The Outside Sales Representative is tasked with overseeing a specific territory and customer base, ensuring satisfaction among existing clients while achieving objectives for acquiring new accounts and sales.
• Set and manage sales targets, objectives, and forecasts for the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular field visits within the designated region to connect with customers, comprehend their needs, and enhance sales.
• Collaborate with customer technical teams to specify and implement industrial equipment, while providing continuous product education and technical assistance.
• Foster and strengthen relationships with current customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty, while also identifying new business prospects.
• Serve as a primary contact for resolving customer disputes, working closely with office staff and factory teams to address and resolve issues promptly.
• Regularly provide updates on sales activities, market trends, customer insights, and progress toward achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of proven experience in an engineering or technical role within an industrial environment, ideally related to valves, flow control products, or similar fields.
• Alternatively, equivalent sales experience may be considered acceptable.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a similar discipline is preferred; however, a high school diploma combined with relevant experience will also be evaluated.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service aptitude.
• Must be a self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Ability to comprehend and articulate the application of industrial equipment in customer operations.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with access to a personal vehicle for sales and service visits.
