This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Develop a comprehensive business plan to meet monthly and quarterly objectives, focusing on expanding existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Collaborate with partners to support marketing strategies that generate inquiries and conversions.
• Design a digital roadmap to enhance the visibility of G Adventures products on agents' social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in every interaction.
• Conduct training sessions on all G Adventures products.
• Operate with both speed and efficiency, consistently showing compassion and care in every engagement.
• Address any booking issues with calmness and empathy.
• Differentiate your service to offer a uniquely G experience for our agency partners.
• Engage with our agency partners in person, virtually, via phone, and through email.
• Participate in partner conferences and training events.
• Organize regular training sessions to keep agents informed about G products.
• Present G Adventures products to groups of agents and/or clients ranging from 4 to over 100.
• Support regional marketing campaigns and initiatives within the travel agency sector.
• Ask insightful questions to understand the unique needs of each agency.
• Recommend and sell the most suitable trips for travelers based on their specific requirements.
• Develop and adhere to a call plan, ensuring agents receive visits as often as needed.
• Accurately document all sales visits in Salesforce.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of all G Adventures products and any updates.
• Serve as the primary problem solver for any booking issues faced by your agents.
• Create concise marketing strategies with partners to enhance inquiries and conversions.
• Ensure the visibility of G Adventures products on our travel trade partners' social media, websites, and digital platforms.
• Be an essential part of G Adventures' vibrant company culture and embody the G Adventures Core Values.
• A passion for sales and travel.
• Essential travel industry sales experience, with on-road BDM experience preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and demonstrate professional sales presentation techniques.
• Proven experience in strategic business planning, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Advanced skills in managing interpersonal relationships.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and complaint resolution skills, emphasizing the customer experience.
• Flexible and energetic, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Proficient in navigating and utilizing various computer systems with speed and efficiency.
• Understanding of and alignment with G Adventures' Core Values.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasionally early mornings to train agents before they open.
• Regular travel for regional and interstate b2b and b2c events.
• A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required.
• Domestic and international travel will be part of this role.
